THE ADAM KAMINSKY SERIES

In the first full-length book in this series, Adam Kaminsky is a former history teacher turned cop, living and working in Philadelphia. Faced every day with evidence of man’s inhumanity to man, Adam knows there is evil in the world. But an official trip to Poland forces Adam to confront a different form of evil – the kind that lurks in the dimly yet painfully remembered past.

In Warsaw, Adam meets Lukas, a reporter involved in digging up the past about political figures, who recently lost his memory in a violent attack. The political process of lustracja (lustration, or vetting) is casting suspicion and doubts about political leaders in Poland. Individuals who have been found to have collaborated with the Communist regime, even simply to save themselves, are being singled out, kicked out of their jobs, sometimes attacked.  One person doesn’t want the truth about his past revealed, and he’s willing to kill to protect himself. Lukas’ attempted murder was only the first step.  The killer will try again, and he won’t hesitate to kill anyone else who stands in his way.

Adam must learn the lesson that history cannot be erased, we can only learn from it and move on.

This novel will be completed in 2013.

HONOR

In this short story, readers meet Adam Kaminksy at the mid-point of his career. Faced with a choice between love and honor, Adam must decide if he's ready to move into a completely new life or if the strictures that have guided him for so long are stronger than the bonds of love.
